Terms of Service for League Organizers

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Get Set Spike League Management platform as a league organizer. By creating an organizer account and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our organizer services.

Organizer Responsibilities

As a league organizer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your leagues
• Ensure fair play and sportsmanship in all activities
• Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding sports activities
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your events
• Ensure venue safety and player welfare
• Handle player disputes professionally and fairly
• Communicate clearly with participants about schedules and changes
• Honor refund policies as stated to players

Payment Processing and Stripe Connect

Onboarding Requirements

To receive payments through our platform, you must:

• Complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding
• Provide valid business information and tax details
• Maintain accurate banking information
• Comply with Stripe's terms of service
• Report income appropriately for tax purposes

Fee Structure

Our platform operates on a simple fee structure:

• 2% platform fee on all transactions
• Instant payouts upon successful player registration
• No monthly subscription fees
• No setup or hidden fees
• Standard Stripe processing fees apply

League Management Standards

Quality Standards

You agree to maintain high standards for your leagues:

• Accurate game scheduling and timely updates
• Fair and transparent team placement
• Proper equipment and venue conditions
• Qualified referees when applicable
• Timely response to player inquiries

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the platform to:

• Create fake or misleading leagues
• Discriminate against players based on protected characteristics
• Engage in price manipulation or unfair practices
• Collect payments outside the platform
• Share player personal information without consent

Data and Privacy Obligations

As an organizer with access to player information, you agree to:

• Use player data only for league management purposes
• Protect player personal information
• Not sell or share player data with third parties
• Delete player data when no longer needed
• Report any data breaches immediately

White-label Services (Coming Soon)

Future white-label features will allow custom branding. When available, additional terms will apply including:

• Appropriate use of custom domains
• Compliance with branding guidelines
• No infringement on third-party trademarks
• Additional fees may apply for premium features

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate organizer accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms or platform policies
• Fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Excessive player complaints
• Non-payment of platform fees
• Legal compliance issues

In case of termination, we will work to ensure proper transition for affected players and handle outstanding payments appropriately.

Liability and Insurance

You acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance
• Get Set Spike is not liable for injuries or damages at your events
• You will indemnify us against claims arising from your leagues
• You are an independent contractor, not an employee

Support and Resources

We provide organizers with:

• 24/7 platform access and uptime commitment
• Dedicated organizer support
• Regular platform updates and improvements
• Best practices documentation
• Community forums and resources

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
